Lethal Means Safety (LMS) Workshop

Nearly 50% of veterans own firearms and over 70% of veteran suicides use firearms. Learn how to discuss promoting voluntary secure storage that can help reduce risk for suicide.

This training is for individuals who support veterans in work, as a volunteer, or peer, including veteran-serving mental health clinics and veteran allies.

Crisis Response Planning (CRP) Workshop

Crisis Response Planning is a strategy designed to assist an individual who might be at risk for suicide by offering alternative self-selected actions and activities they can use in times of crisis.

This is for individuals who support veterans in work, as a volunteer, or peer, including veteran-serving mental health clinics and veteran allies.

Veteran Cultural Competence Training

The Veteran Cultural Competence Training is an interactive online program designed to enhance understanding of the unique challenges veterans face during their transition to civilian life.

This is for anyone who currently provides services to, or employs, veterans or their families. This includes medical or mental health professionals, business leaders, HR executives, administrators, and university faculty and staff.

Postvention Resources

Postvention is critical to promote healing after suicide and reduces suicide risk for loss survivors. Through postvention practices, we can reduce the stigma surrounding suicide and support individuals and communities through the grieving process.
